The Indianapolis Colts ruled out one player Friday ahead of the Week 2 matchup against the Green Bay Packers .

Head coach Shane Steichen told reporters after Friday's practice that safety Julian Blackmon was ruled out due to a shoulder injury.

Blackmon didn't practice all week after suffering an injury to the same shoulder that forced him to miss the final month of the 2023 season.

Steichen also mentioned that they don't think it's a long-term injury.
