Wide receiver Tee Higgins (hamstring), tight end Tanner Hudson (knee), and offensive tackle Amarius Mims (pectoral) are all doubtful for Sunday.

Translation: Don't expect any of them to play along with rookie defensive tackle Kris Jenkins Jr. (thumb), who's the only player officially out as of now.

Higgins has missed four straight consecutive practice going back to last week with his tweaked hamstring. Being one of the offense's best players means he could potentially play without practicing under some circumstances, but not with a hamstring that isn't quite healed yet.

Hudson and Mims at least practiced this week, but the former was unable to participate Friday and Mims has been limited all week. There's no need to rush Mims, the team's first-round pick from this year's NFL Draft, as Trent Brown will continue to start at right tackle.

If Hudson is out, that means rookie tight end Tanner McLachlan has a good chance of making his regular season debut as the team's fourth tight end. Fellow rookie Erick All should see a bump in playing time behind Drew Sample and Mike Gesicki.

Defensive tackle B.J. Hill (knee), running back Zack Moss (neck), and linebacker Logan Wilson (knee) should all be expected to play. Hill and Wilson were limited in practice this week. Moss was a full participant all three days. Safety Geno Stone (back) was limited Friday and Drew Sample (biceps) was a full participant. Stone might be a name to monitor entering the weekend.

Kansas City's injury report is squeaky clean thanks to the decision to place wide receiver Marquise "Hollywood" Brown (shoulder) on the Reserve/Injured list . Brown missed the first two practices of the week before the Chiefs opted to shelve him entirely for at least four weeks.
