Packers Make Official Jordan Love Announcement

The Green Bay Packers are preparing for their Week 2 contest against the Indianapolis Colts, but the presumption is that they will be without star quarterback Jordan Love.

With six seconds left in their season-opening loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, Love suffered an MCL sprain that was expected to hold him out for the next three-to-six weeks.

Unsurprisingly, Love has not practiced for the Packers this week due to his injury. However, the team hasn't shut the door on Love potentially suiting up for the team in Week 2, as he has been listed as questionable ahead of the team's clash with the Colts.

Love being questionable for this game is a pretty big surprise given the severity of his injury, and the fact that he didn't practice at all in the buildup to the game.

However, it appears he's been making some progress behind the scenes, and at the very least, it will force the Colts to include him in their game plan in the event he ends up playing.

Chances are Love won't suit up in Week 2, but the Packers are giving him a shot to prove he can play, and his status is suddenly worth keeping an eye on ahead of their Sunday action.
