LAS VEGAS (TCN) -- A 47-year-old gas station employee is facing an attempted murder charge for allegedly severely beating a customer after the victim broke the store’s nacho cheese machine.

According to KVVU-TV, in the early morning hours of Sept. 3, Las Vegas Metro Police Department officers responded to an Arco station after receiving a call about a man on the grass who was bleeding from his head, nose, and ears. Officers arrived and transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he was being treated for multiple brain bleeds, skull fractures, and other injuries.

KLAS-TV, which cites the police report, says a man getting gas noticed the victim and spoke with the gas station attendant, Myron Bullie, who was standing outside. Bullie allegedly said he was "not going to call 911. He better have learned a lesson." The witness then contacted police about the situation.

Bullie allegedly told police that the victim was buying nachos and put too much cheese on the chips, which caused the machine to malfunction. He reportedly kicked the victim out of the store, but the man returned minutes later and said he wanted his nachos. Bullie allegedly pushed him out of the store while holding a baseball bat, and they got into a physical altercation. KVVU reports Bullie allegedly punched the victim and struck him with the bat several times. Police wrote in the report that Bullie allegedly hit him so hard that the victim could not get up for several minutes.

According to KLAS, police asked him if he struck the victim hard with the bat, and he responded, "If it was hard, his head would’ve been smashed on the... floor and he would’ve been dead."

Court records show Bullie is being charged with attempted murder and battery with use of deadly weapon resulting in substantial bodily harm. His bail was set at $10,000.
