Desoto County is racist as ever. The good ole boys club. Sheriff Rasco was the leader for many many years.

NAACP wants the districts drawn up to have less diluted black voters who it suspects will vote for black candidates. They currently represent a third of the vote. But currently DeSoto County is 2 thirds non black. Is it possible they also vote for their likeness also, the non black candidates? If so that would result in a 2 thirds to a one third vote defeat for the black candidates otherwise known as democracy and the will of the people. Suppose the democrats were a third versus a two third republican demographic. Would it be valid for democrats to complain that they can't win any elected district positions? It's DeSoto County Mississippi. We vote for who we believe to be the best candidate.
