Through one game of the 2024 NFL season, the Raiders offense looks bad, they couldn't move the ball, and Gardner Minshew struggled overall.

The Raiders' offseason was centered around their quarterback competition, and now it seems the regular season will be centered around targeting a quarterback in the draft .

With the Raiders offensive struggles, media outlets such as Bleacher Report have them drafting well within the top 10, and with that pick, Brent Sobleski has them taking Shedeur Sanders.

"Sanders has the ability. It's evident. He has good natural arm talent and accuracy when working in rhythm," Wrote Sobleski. "However, the rest of his evaluation will revolve around how the prospect plays when facing top competition. Sanders and the Buffaloes fell flat Saturday against the Nebraska Cornhuskers."

The issue with Sanders is it's hard to get a great read on his actual talent and processing abilities because he has no time to throw. His offensive line is bad, like really bad. Sanders knows it, we know it, and Sanders made that heard after Colorado fell to Nebraska.

"How many times did [Dylan] Riola get touched," asked Sanders.

The question that prompted that head-scratching response was regarding the importance of their offense being more balanced.

If we're being honest, the Raiders haven't been the most stable franchise over the years. Seeing him put the blame on the offensive line for a team his Dad is the head coach of, leads you to think what he would say when the dysfunction of the Raiders rears its head.

Should the Raiders take Shedeur Sanders in the draft, it would be a decision they will regret.
