PHILADELPHIA — An encouraging night for the Mets took an ominous turn on Friday, as Francisco Lindor was removed from their game against the Phillies before the bottom of the seventh.

The shortstop grabbed his left knee after being caught in a rundown and slipping between second and third to end the top of the sixth.

However, the Mets announced Lindor was dealing with lower back soreness.
