Skip Bayless Admits He ‘Jinxed’ Caitlin Clark Before Aces-Fever Rematch

This isn't the Caitlin Clark we've been used to watching over the past couple of years.

The Indiana Fever star who has been considered the front-runner in the Rookie of the Year race this season in the WNBA has been playing uncharacteristically poorly over the last two games. On Wednesday, she went just 1-for-10 from deep and scored only 16 points in the loss to the Las Vegas Aces,

In Friday night's rematch against the Aces, Clark's poor play continued. She missed her first five three-point attempts, and at one point missed back-to-back free throws as well.

Fox Sports host Skip Bayless claims that he thinks he knows the reason for her struggles as of late.

    Him.

We've seen slumps take place in basketball before, so I'm willing to bet that Clark is just a bit off over the last week, rather than Bayless having actually jinxed her with his praise.

Regardless of the reason, we will see how the Fever star can finish the game against the Aces and prepare for a push into the WNBA playoffs.
