You know, I will be one of the first to say that we are living in very difficult times. Every day, some of us have to make tough decisions on how we are going to get by.
As Christians, no matter how tough things get, we are still supposed to do things that are pleasing to God. We are living for him as best we know how; we are to trust him, no matter what. He will supply all of our needs according to his riches in glory. We don’t have to sin in the presence of God to get by.
Trust him! He might not come when we want him to, but he’s always on time. Hear me, you don’t want to ever get to the point in Christ that you can’t get a prayer through. Not in the time that we are living in. Anything could happen without a moment’s notice. We really need to stay built up in the Lord that we may keep our loved ones lifted up in prayer. So many people are leaving here.
Another thing that we need to address again is all the sinning going on with the saints. I know a lot of you don’t want to hear it, but I’m just trying to save your lives. The Lord isn’t playing anymore. Church folk are going to leave here because they refuse to give up their sin.
There’s no need to say that no one is perfect. Even God knows that. He’s talking about the saints that are practicing sin. Even if people preach the truth of the word of God, they are evil spoken of. They follow after preachers and churches that satisfy their flesh. Don’t they know that the ground is about to cave in under their feet?
Some are lying, stealing, gambling, committing adultery, full of hate and hypocrisy, fornicating, backbiting, cussing and disobedient. Some have even begun to agree with all the abominations and filth that’s happening in the world.
The Bible declares: “And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through their covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness to be reserved unto judgment. And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eight person, a preacher of righteousness bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly. And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an example unto those that after should live ungodly.” 2 Peter 2:3-6.
“For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome; the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb. The dog is turned to his own vomit again, and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.” 2 Peter 2:19-22.
Sadly, things have gotten that bad. But by the help of the Lord, we are going to change.
