They finally Lego of this lodged toy.
An Arizona resident can finally “smell colors” after recently blowing their nose in the shower — freeing a Lego piece that had been stuck in their nose for nearly three decades.
Norton Havoc, 32, who identifies as they/them, shared the shocking story on Instagram , mentioning that for years they had endured “multiple breathing issues” that included asthma, as well as a recent diagnosis of Obstructive sleep apnea.
Havoc said they had been blowing their nose in the shower for the past six months as per their doctor’s advice because of the arid conditions where they live in Arizona, when the toy shot out.
“Today, I was blowing my nose in the shower, and lo and behold, I blew out a Lego dot that has been in my nose for at least 26 years,” Havoc said in the video. “ And I don’t know what to think of this.”
“I can breathe out of this side of my nose now, and it’s fantastic,” Havoc said. “I haven’t been able to do that since I was a child.”
Holding the newly-freed toy in a Ziploc bag toward the end of the video, Havoc said “I am shooken.”
Havoc added that they plan to take the toy to the doctor and discuss the incident.
