Spooky Halloween Witch Finger Cookies are classic sugar cookies that are delicious and turned into gnarly witch-finger cookies! Simple cookies are topped with almond fingernails and if you want a ghoulish cookie add a little red jam around the nail for a blood effect.

Shopping List:

• 1- 14-ounce package of sugar cookie mix
• 1/2 cup AP flour
• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 1 large egg
• Optional: 10 drops of green food coloring
• Sliced almonds or pumpkin seeds

Directions:

1. Whisk the cookie mix and flour together
2. Add the butter, egg, and coloring if using, and mix until it forms a ball.
3. Roll into around 1 tablespoon of dough into long sticks.
4. Place an almond on the top of the nail adhering with egg wash.
5. These can be shaped crooked fingers, straight or however you prefer.
6. Using a knife slightly press into the dough to make lines for skin effect.
7. Bake on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper at 350 degrees for around 13 minutes or until the edges are browned.
8. Cool. Remove from cookie sheet.
9. Serve in a clear tall glass at a party or on a Halloween plate.
