Police: Convicted felon found and arrested in Shelton in connection to fatal overdose

Shelton police say they have found Daniel Reid , a convicted felon with a lengthy criminal record. Reid, 38, was arrested Friday. Police say Reid's arrest stemmed from a fatal drug overdose that happened in May. An investigation revealed Reid sold narcotics to the victim prior to their overdose. When police searched Reid's home in Shelton they found narcotics, a semi-automatic firearm with no serial number and ammunition.
