Target Is Selling a Stylish $40 Faux Leather Bomber Jacket So Similar to a Nordstrom Style Almost 15x the Price

Fall means jackets! And while not always necessary, having a closet full of different kinds of jackets is fun. But amassing such a collection can be expensive, so we’ll jump on any jacket deals when we can. That’s where Target’s newest faux leather jacket comes in; it’s affordable, stylish and looks like a designer jacket sold at Nordstrom for 15 times the price.

We’re talking about Target’s Women's Faux Leather Bomber Jacket by their in-house brand, Wild Fable. It’s $40 and only available in black, but that’s really all you need when it comes to leather jackets. It's a classic bomber jacket design: a cinched bottom and wrists and a little oversized everywhere else. It also has a ribbed collar and side pockets.

Women's Faux Leather Bomber Jacket - Wild Fable, Black , $40 at Target

This bomber jacket is considered “long length” and looks like it hits below the model’s hips. It of course zips up and the cinched wrists and hem are elastic. Being faux leather, it’s made with 100% polyurethane and is described as “midweight” on Target’s site. And what it lacks in color variations it makes up for in its size range: it comes in sizes XXS through 4X.

AllSaints Belle Leather Bomber Jacket , $599 at Nordstrom

Target’s faux leather bomber jacket is very similar to AllSaints’s Belle Leather Bomber Jacket , which is $599 at Nordstrom. This is also a bomber jacket, but the main difference is that the cinched wrists and hem are with a ribbed elastic fabric (similar to what’s on the collar). It also has a zippered front with a long leather zipper pull tab (Target’s just has a zipper, no pull tab). It’s fully lined and has front welt pockets. And the main reason behind the price difference is the fact that this is made with real “buttery-soft sheepskin leather.”

With that said, Nordstrom’s AllSaint leather bomber jacket is going to be heavier and feel different because it’s made with real leather. But if you’re in it just for the look and like Target’s clothing quality, then Wild Fable’s Women's Faux Leather Bomber Jacket is worth checking out for your fall wardrobe.
