It’s time for another edition of Friday Night Lights, where The Clemson Insider tracks the performances of some of Clemson’s current commits..

TCI was on hand at South Florence for Clemson commit Amare Adams’ dominant effort in the Bruins 49-14 win over Fort Dorchester. I have now watched Adams more than half a dozen times since the start of his junior season, and last night was as disruptive as I have seen him.

Adams projects to play defensive tackle at the college level, but the highly-touted 4-star plays end in the Bruins 3-4 scheme.

His motor was running non-stop. Adams was routinely getting through the double-teams he sees on most plays, and against a Fort Dorchester offensive line that features plenty of size. He unofficially finished with three tackles, two of those going for a loss, and three quarterback pressures. He also deflected a pass. And he only played the first half. The 6-foot-6, 300-pound commit has grown into one of the leaders of that South Florence team.

4-star safety Tae Harris rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns in Cedartown’s 45-7 win over Allatoona. On the defensive side, Harris tallied six tackles and a pass breakup. Cedartown moves to 5-0 on the season.

4-star RB Gideon Davidson rushed for four touchdowns in LCA’s blowout win.

4-star Marquise Henderson rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries in BHP’s road loss to Westside. It was the Bears first loss of the season.

4-star QB commit Blake Hebert scored multiple touchdowns in a blowout win for Brunswick.

4-star DE Ari Watford had a scoop and score in Maury’s win.

2026 4-star QB commit Tait Reynolds had a couple of touchdown throws for Queen Creek.

2026 3-star QB commit Brock Bradley had multiple touchdown throws in Spain Park’s 28-26 win.

2026 commit Shavar Young Jr . had a touchdown catch. The 4-star corner is one of three 2026 commits.

A limited number of signed footballs from Clemson’s 2022 class are still available.  Get yours while supplies last!  Visit Clemson Variety & Frame or purchase online!
