Tim Tebow Names Biggest Question Mark for College Football Playoff Contender

Only two teams in the SEC have not allowed a sack yet in 2024. Those teams are the LSU Tigers and Missouri Tigers.

LSU faces one of the worst teams in allowing sacks in Week 3. The South Carolina Gamecocks lead the SEC with eight sacks allowed but are 2-0 heading into the matchup.

While the zero sacks allowed were an excellent statistic to some, Tim Tebow disagreed. On "SEC Nation," Tebow broke down the question marks surrounding LSU's offensive line.

He believed that the question mark was not in pass protection but in run blocking. He also mentioned how often Nicholls pressured quarterback Garrett Nussmeier in Week 2.

"...I think one of the biggest question marks for LSU is the offensive line," Tebow said. "Not as much in pass protection, more so in the running game. There were so many times last week that Garrett Nussmeier was getting flushed early and had to throw it away or didn't have enough time. ...This offensive line as a unit has to play better."

LSU last participated in the College Football Playoff in 2019. Members of that offensive line, such as Lloyd Cushenberry III, Damien Lewis, Saaddiq Charles, and Ed Ingram, were drafted to the NFL that year.

LSU ranks 10th in total offensive yards (401.5) in the SEC heading into Week 3. The Tigers have the fourth-most passing yards per game (311) behind their offensive line in the conference. LSU is last in the conference in rushing yards per game with 90.5

Kickoff against South Carolina is at noon ET on ABC and ESPN+.
