Fans Express Concern After Rock Band Members Get Into 'Unhinged' Physical Alteration Mid-Concert

Audience members a recent Jane's Addiction concert were certainly not expecting to see a fight fight happen on stage.

While the band performed a show in Boston, Mass., on Friday, Sept. 13, an altercation broke out between two of the musicians in the middle of the concertz—with lead singer Perry Farrell physically confronting guitarist Dave Navarro while they were mid-song.

Footage of the incident shared by a user on TikTok showed the moment Farrell, 65, became visibly agitated with his fellow rocker, before getting close enough to shoulder-barge Navarro, 57, while appearing to shout, "F--k you!"

Navarro, who looked somewhat confused, reached out his arm toward Farrell's chest, seemingly trying to keep his bandmate at bay.

But Farrell didn't relent, as he then tried throwing a punch at Navarro before multiple people from backstage interfered, holding Farrell down.

Farrell was then—very reluctantly—dragged off the stage, while Navarro put down his guitar and walked toward the other side of the stage.

Users on social media were calling it a "sad day" to see the fight breakout between the two bandmates, especially since it seemed to be unprovoked. This led fans to believe something more serious might be going on with the group's frontman.

"whats his problem," someone in the comments on TikTok wanted to know, while many others suggested substance abuse as a possible explanation for Farrell's lashing out.

Someone else said Farrell was "unhinged" in the clip, while another person on X (formerly Twitter) called the singer a "loose cannon."

"Total lack of respect for their audience," someone else noted, as the concert reportedly abruptly ended as a result of the situation.
