Desmond Howard Predicts Deion Sanders and Colorado Will Be Upset by Colorado State

On last week's edition of ESPN's "College GameDay," Desmond Howard was the only analyst to pick the Colorado Buffaloes to beat the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

In doing so, he was the lone analyst on the show to get the pick incorrect. So, heading into their Week 3 rivalry matchup against the Colorado State Rams, Howard revealed he let a coin toss decide for him.

As a result, the coin led to him picking the Rams to win the "Rocky Mountain Showdown."

"I think that this game for me personally came down to flip a coin," Howard said. "I flipped a coin. I'm going with Colorado State."

Following Howard's pick, Pat McAfee, Nick Saban and Lee Corso all picked Colorado to win. So, with Kirk Herbstreit left to pick, it almost looked like it would be a repeat of last week, with Howard alone with his pick. However, Herbstreit gave the Rams an advantage since they were playing at home.

The Buffaloes needed double overtime to win last year's game, and the oddsmakers are forecasting another close one this season. According to ESPN, Colorado is a 7.5-point favorite. ESPN's Matchup Predictor does give Deion Sanders' squad over an 80% chance of winning.

The game will take place at Canvas Stadium in Fort Collins, Colorado and aired on CBS at 7:30 ET.
