Bad News for NC State

NC State trailed Louisiana Tech 17-6 at halftime of Saturday’s game in Raleigh, and that wasn’t the only bad news for the Wolfpack coming out of the first half.

NC State starting quarterback Grayson McCall was ruled out for the remainder of the game after suffering an injury late in the second quarter.

Of course, Clemson will host NC State next Saturday, so McCall’s injury is big news to monitor ahead of the contest at Death Valley.

Prior to being replaced by freshman CJ Bailey, McCall, a tranfser from Coastal Carolina, went 9-of-13 passing for 54 yards to go with four carries for 22 yards.

The matchup between the Tigers and Wolfpack next Saturday, Sept. 21 is set to kick off at noon and will be televised on ABC.
