Demi Moore is the latest member of the Moore-Willis family to speak out about Bruce Willis ' ongoing health battle.

In a rare new update from the Ghost actress, who was married to Willis for over a decade, Moore revealed that her ex-husband is "in a stable place" as he continues to fight a diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia (FTD).

The Die Hard star, 69, retired from acting in the spring of 2022 after first being diagnosed with aphasia, which later progressed into FTD.

"Given the givens, he is in a stable place," Moore, 61, said while appearing on the Friday , Sept. 13 episode of The Drew Barrymore Show . Host Drew Barrymore and Moore reminisced about filming together for the 2003 film Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, featuring a cameo from Willis.

After Barrymore, 49, asked about the movie legend's health, Moore opened up about how she and her family are approaching his illness.

"What I say to my kids is you meet them where they’re at. You don’t hold on to who they were or what you want them to be, but who they are in this moment," said Moore, who shares three daughters: Rumer , 36, Scout , 33, and Tallulah , 30, with Willis.

The Disclosure actress explained that their approach has resulted in "such beauty and joy and loving and sweetness" among their family.

"When I’m in L.A., I go over every week, and I really treasure the time that we all share," she added.

In addition to the support Willis gets from his ex-wife and their three grown children, the actor is also surrounded by love from his current wife, Emma Heming Willis , and their two daughters, Mabel , 12, and Evelyn , 10.

Just love. Cherish and embrace Bruce. Remember that he doesn’t know what he does and as long as he is kind and loving, you are still interacting with your loved one. It’s unfortunate for the beautiful person he is and wonderful actor that he was, that his life has come to this. Bruce will always be my favorite actor and I will cherish the decades of entertainment that he gave us. Love you Bruce! 🤗❤️😍🙏
