Draymond Green issues sarcastic message for 76ers superstar

Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green is one of the NBA's most controversial players , having experienced both the highs and lows of the league.

It's clear the Philadelphia 76ers ' community sticks out to him, not in a positive light.

Green recently warned the Sixers' newest superstar, Paul George, about the downside of playing poorly in front of the Philadelphia crowd.

“Good luck, Paul George,” Green said . “Aw, he better play well, or they're going to crush Paul George if he don't play well."

Passionate is a word often used to describe Philly sports fans, meaning they are either your biggest supporters or the first to make you aware of struggles. The Warriors big man went on to address that ex-Sixers forward Tobias Harris is partially to blame for George's situation.

“You know why they're gonna crush Paul George if he don't play well there?" Green said. "Because they already got a nasty taste in their mouth from their last three [small forward] that they had with Tobias Harris. They never felt like he brought it, so that's why.”

George is seemingly unfazed by the criticism coming his way, speaking earlier in the offseason about the agenda surrounding 76ers fans.

“Be as critical and as hard as you can,” George said, according to Ben Istvan . “I think it’s going to work out for myself and for the team. … I’m not scared or shying away from that at any point, at any stage. That’s what you look forward to.”
