    On the road again...

NASCAR returns to a road course for the second race of the Cup Series playoffs, Go Bowling at the Glen.

The race, hosted at Watkins Glen, figures to be an eye-catching affair. Between the tight turns, the hectic driving and all that dirty air, it can prove challenging to maneuver through the mire.

The implications are all the more captivating when considering the stakes that surround Sunday's contest. It's the second of three first-round races, all designed to trim the fat and reveal the Cup Series' 12 best talents.

With that, here's a look at the results of qualifying for Sunday's race at the Glen.

Who won the Go Bowling at the Glen pole for 2024?

Ross Chastain took home the pole for Sunday's Go Bowling at the Glen.

The Trackhouse Racing star has limped through the 2024 campaign thus far, falling short of a postseason berth for the first time since 2021.

He fired back with an impressive run at Watkins Glen, capturing his first pole of the season and second of his career on Saturday afternoon.

He'll be joined in the front row by Joe Gibbs Racig star Martin Truex Jr., who has recorded six top-six finishes in his last seven races at the Glen.
