The Young and the Restless: Summer and Chance Relationship Doesn’t Impress Viewers

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) episode demonstrates that the writers keep attempting to make Summer and Chance a thing, but it is not going down well with fans.

Tensions are brewing in Genoa City as The Young and the Restless continues to push Summer and Chance together, but fans are not buying into this new pairing.

As their lack of chemistry becomes more obvious, viewers are left wondering how long this mismatched duo will last. They appear to be out of sync and unsuitable for one another.

No Chemistry, No Future?

Not to mention that Summer appears to still have feelings for Kyle but is too furious to express them.

Since Chance and Summer met, there has been no connection, and they don't vibe off one another as Summer and Kyle did a few years ago, or the more potent match-up formed lately between Sally and Adam.

How much longer can these two last? Especially with all the baggage Summer has brought into the relationship?

If there's one thing you want to accomplish, it's delight the fans, and right now, the writers aren't doing a good job.

Viewers sent comments on a recent Instagram post from 'The Young and the Restless' advertising Summer and Chance, and the replies were exactly what you would expect.

Fans said, "Not a fan of these two. Chance deserved better. Summer is a pampered princess.", "There is absolutely no chemistry. Chance and Sharon had far greater chemistry. They're better matched to each other.", "boring couple," and "zero chemistry!" Boring"

Is Summer Still Stuck on Kyle?

It does not appear like these two are destined for any type of future. We can feel Adam and Sally's connection and affection for one another.

It seeps out freely, leaving us with the impression that there are many more stories to be told between them. However, with Summer and Chance, it appears like Summer is using him as a crutch right now.

These two do not appear to be expressing any emotion, and we wish we could see any.

This is simply another roadside rest break for these two individuals, and they will ultimately be with the person they are destined to be with, right? What are your thoughts?
