Browns Catch Major Heat for Latest Deshaun Watson Post

The Cleveland Browns’ attempt to wish Deshaun Watson a happy birthday on social media took a viral turn Saturday, as fans flooded the post with their unfiltered opinions on the quarterback.

The post on X drew more than 1.5 million views and nearly 2,000 comments, most critical of Watson, who is under fire following another sexual assault allegation.

"You still have time to delete this post," one fan wrote .

"Read the room good lord smdh," another fan said .

The NFL is investigating the latest claim against Watson, but he's slated to be the Browns' starter against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

Watson had a miserable Week 1 outing, notching just 169 passing yards, one touchdown and a pair of interceptions against the Dallas Cowboys. He's on a $230 million, fully guaranteed contract, which has became a source of frustration for Browns' fans.

"The greatest gift for the fans would be to get out of his contract," a fan said .

"How yall wishing him a happy birthday when he robbed yall for MILLIONS!" another wrote .

If Watson is at any point unavailable, the Browns will turn to former No. 1 overall pick Jameis Winston. Second-year passer Dorian Thompson-Robinson is also in the mix.

The Browns are a 3-point underdog for their matchup at Jacksonville, per ESPN BET.
