Fans Torn Over Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders’ Postgame Behavior

Unlike last year, the Colorado Buffaloes didn’t need double overtime to dispatch of the Colorado State Rams on Saturday at Canvas Stadium in Fort Collins.

A two-touchdown second quarter helped Colorado assert its dominance over an outmatched CSU team and come out with a 28-9 win. The Buffaloes outgained the Rams 419 yards to 340 as CU quarterback Shedeur Sanders out-dueled Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi, but it was what Sanders did after the game that drew the most attention.

As the two QBs exchanged pleasantries once the final whistle blew, Sanders took the time get in Fowler-Nicolosi’s face, shouting “You can’t f--- with me” at the sophomore signal-caller, which drew a mixed bag of reaction from fans on social media.

On one hand, there was a contingency of people who weren’t thrilled with Sanders’ bravado, many of whom believe the senior QB needs to be taken down a peg or two.

“This some of the most childish s--- ever,” one user said .

“We all need Shedeur to get humbled,” another stated .

“I can’t be the only one who doesn’t like this guy,” a third remarked .

“He’s always so cocky. Disgusting behavior,” commented another fan .

“Kid is arrogant and entitled because of his daddy. No chance in hell I would advise a team to draft him next year,” exclaimed another user .

While there’s another throng of fans who saw no problem with Sanders’ actions, especially considering Fowler-Nicolosi did a bit of trash talking before the game, stating “We'll see how far Instagram followers gets them,” and they weren’t shy about enjoying Fowler-Nicolosi get his comeuppance.

“Lol, if they talk, shut ‘em up,” one user stated .

“Facts. Him and Horton was the main ones talking trash and didn’t even show up. Trash,” a second remarked .

“So the other guy can talk all the crap he wants but sanders can’t respond after beating the crap out of him?” commented a third user .

“Everyone is saying Shedeur is cocky, you guys obviously didn’t see what CSU QB said before they played,” quipped another .

Sanders finished with 310 yards passing and four touchdowns, while Fowler-Nicolosi had just 209 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions.
