Trump blasts Harris’s trip to border as he holds yet another press conference to air grievances: Live

Donald Trump delivered a rambling diatribe on migrants at the southern border on Thursday afternoon ahead of a trip by Kamala Harris to Arizona on Friday.

In repetitive, conspiracy-laden remarks to the press at Trump Tower, the former president sought to blame the Biden administration for the migrant crisis and repeated his claims that illegal migrants were stealing jobs from Black and Hispanic people specifically.

Meanwhile, a survey of CFOs by CNBC shows that most believe Harris will win November’s election, though they still see Trump as being better at handling the economy and inflation — despite dire warnings about his proposed policies regarding trade.

In her first one-on-one network interview, since she became the Democratic presidential nominee, Harris hit out at Trump’s approach to the economy , calling him “not serious”.

The vice president spoke to MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle on Wednesday night , hours after she delivered a major policy speech on the economy in Pittsburgh, championing child tax credits, downpayment assistance, and small-business incentives.

She said: “One must be serious and have a plan, and a real plan that’s not just about some talking point ending in an exclamation at a political rally.”
