One of the four guys implicated has pleaded guilty. More than three months after his murder, one of the suspects in the death of General Hospital star Johnny has provided an important update.

The case surrounding the tragic murder of General Hospital actor Johnny has taken a significant turn, with one of the four men involved pleading guilty.

As the investigation pushes forward, tensions rise, and justice inches closer for Wactor’s loved ones and the soap opera community, who continue to mourn his shocking loss.

From Soap Opera to Courtroom Drama

Leonel, 18, one of the four accused, pleaded guilty to attempted robbery and grand theft. Gutierrez faces up to five years in jail and is presently free on bail while awaiting sentence in November.

Robert, Wactor's shooter, and Sergio, both 18, were arrested and charged with murder. The two males, along with the fourth suspect Frank, 22, pleaded not guilty and will appear in court in October.

Wactor was shot and died outside a bar he worked at in Los Angeles on May 25, 2024, after discovering a gang of individuals attempting to steal the catalytic converter from his vehicle.

Wactor's death sparked a search for his murderers. Hundreds marched through Los Angeles, led by one of Wactor's pals, including his GH co-stars Bonnie, Parry, and Lydia.

Co-stars Maurice, Steve, and Bradford shared recollections of the actor on their podcasts, and numerous GH actors flocked to social media to support the investigation into the murder.

    Leonel’s Guilty Plea Shocks Everyone

The four men were eventually located and taken into custody after the Los Angeles Police Department published images from the scene last month in an effort to identify the suspects.

As the legal process unfolds, the remaining suspects are set to face their day in court, and the pursuit of justice for Johnny continues.

With Leonel's guilty plea marking a critical development, the focus now shifts to the upcoming trials of Robert, Sergio, and Frank.

As the community holds its breath, hoping for accountability and closure, the impact of this tragic case remains a poignant reminder of the loss felt by those who knew and admired Wactor.

The coming months will be crucial in determining the full extent of justice for the beloved actor. Is This the Beginning of Justice for Johnny?
