What are the chances you can meet an NBA star on a random day in a convenience store?

Such was the luck of an NBA fan Geno Cantell.

Cantell posted a photo of him and New York Knicks All-Star point guard Jalen Brunson at Wawa, the popular chain of convenience stores and gas stations originating from Philadelphia and operating along the East Coast.

Cantel said of the photo in a Knicks fan group: "What is life? I met Jalen Brunson inside of a Wawa?? Am I on drugs??? What is happening?!?!?!

While it may surprise a lot of people to see him at Wawa, Brunson is used to stopping by the convenience store as he was born and raised in South Jersey, specifically in New Brunswick.

Brunson admitted in a recent Instagram video that he is such a fan of the popular convenience store.

"No trip to [Jersey] shore is complete without a Wawa Run," Brunson said in the caption.

Brunson is just fresh off signing his second six-figure deal with the Knicks. After signing initially for a four-year, $104 million deal in 2022, he added another four-year, $156.5 million extension this summer.

Despite his rise as an NBA star with the Knicks and earning such lucrative deals, Brunson remains low-key.
