Travis Hunter’s Blunt Response To Colorado State Captured In Locker Room Video

Colorado Buffaloes two-way star Travis Hunter made a bold statement in response to Colorado State's pregame trash talk on Saturday, September 14.

In 2023, Colorado defeated the Colorado State Rams 43-35 in double overtime. The Buffaloes overcame a late 11-point deficit to come out with the win.

In the lead-up to Saturday's rivalry game, Colorado State quarterback Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi said, "We'll see how far Instagram followers get them."

Deion Sanders' Buffaloes have been known to wear flashy clothes, talk a lot of smack, and, in turn, go viral for it.

In the Saturday, September 14 rematch, Colorado dominated Colorado State by a score of 28-9. The Rams had a 3-0 lead at the end of the first quarter, but it was all Buffaloes from then on.

Following the game, the Colorado social media team posted a video that featured Hunter responding to Fowler-Nicolosi.

"Them Instagram followers got us far today, ya hearrrddd," Hunter said.

Hunter finished the game with 13 receptions for 100 yards and two touchdowns. On the defensive side, he had five tackles and one interception.

Colorado will take its 2-1 record into Week 4 against the Baylor Bears. Kickoff is set for 8:00 p.m. ET on FOX on Saturday.
