ARLINGTON SEPT 15 CEEDEE ANSWERS CeeDee Lamb just exploded for a 65-yard catch-and-run TD to close the Saints' first-half lead here at AT&T Stadium to 21-13. How'd it look?

The Saints now have about seven first-half minutes left to respond ...

SPLASH! Some fans here at AT&T Stadium are now booing the home team as the Saints just exploded for a third "easy'' TD - and the second one of which was a long splash play.

This time it's Alvin Kamara taking a short pass from Derek Carr and going 57 yards with it ... for a 21-3 Saints lead.

If the other team is gobbling up TDs from 57 and 70 yards? Your team is going to spend the afternoon trying to roll a boulder up a hill.

SEPT 15 TRAP The Dallas Cowboys were hoping to start fast on their way to 2-0 to begin the season when Derek Carr and the New Orleans Saints rolled into AT&T Stadium . But in the early going, it hasn't worked out according to hope.

The Saints, heavy underdogs, scored on the opening possession with a crisp march down the field capped by an Alvin Kamara TD run. And then one offensive play after that, they did it again, starting their second possession with a 70-yard touchdown catch by Rashid Shaheed.

It's not quite the 47 points the Saints scored in their Week 1 demolition of the Carolina Panthers. ... but it is an early Dallas hole nevertheless.

Dallas has been automatic at home over the last 12 months - in the regular season at least. But that old saying, "We need TDs, not FGs!'' applies so far, as Dallas' answer to the Saints' quick TD is but a 52-yard field goal by Brandon Aubrey. Which was followed too quickly by the Shaheed explosion.

We knew the Saints were not going to roll over, and with Derek Carr, Kamara, Taysom Hill, Rashid Shaheed and Jamaal Williams, there's more than enough talent to pack a punch. ... and for now, to give the Saints the lead in a contest some folks coming in projected might be a trap game'' for the 1-0 Cowboys as they were 6.5-point favorites.
