Whew! NLE Choppa shared some words about Complex’s new list of the top 20 rappers in their 20’s right now.

NLE Speaks Out About Best Rapper List

The list published on Thursday, (Sept. 12), prompted a frustrated reaction from NLE Choppa because it did not include him among the top 20 rappers.

The Memphis spitter responded by uploading a 6-minute rant on social media.

“Whoever made that Complex list, I just want to let you know something: your a** need to go do rock and roll or some other shit,” Choppa said. See, I been tucking my tail, I been trying to be more positive, I’ve been trying to be more of a light for these people. But y’all got me f****d up. Y’all keep playing with me.”

NLE Choppa clarified that he wasn’t discrediting any of the artists on the list. However, he argued that the list could have included 21 musicians, which would have allowed him to be on it.

In the clip, the ‘Walk Em Down’ emcee said he is going to cook something up for October, but will focus on promoting his current music in the meantime.

Choppa then flexed his accomplishments by discussing his sales and sold-out shows. He also credited NBA YoungBoy for his success, noting that they both achieved a lot early in their 20s.

“Go look at the certifications, let me know who beating me bruh, respectfully. I’m one year in my 20s, ain’t nobody did what I did. I’m gonna make y’all respect this s**t one way or another. Who been dominating this whole year, in the male atmosphere? Come on now, don’t play with me man. Sold-out shows everywhere.” NLE continued.
