The Tampa Bay Buccaneers head North to face the Detroit Lions, rekindling a matchup from the NFC Divisional round. Baker Mayfield and the Bucs look to continue the offense's sizzling start from Week 1 into hostile environment at Ford Field.

Mayfield tossed four touchdowns on 289 yards against the Washington Commanders, but faces a tougher challenge against this Lions defense.

Defensively, the Bucs attempt to overcome a slew of key defensive injuries. All-Pro safety Antoine Winfield Jr. is out of the lineup after an ankle injury and Calijah Kancey's calf injury keeps him out a second straight week.

After an early hiccup, the Lions offense shifted gears and has put pressure on the Tampa Bay defense. The Lions used a 12-play drive to move into the end zone, looking to claim the lead.

But the Bucs defense held serve, forcing another field goal that evens the score at six apiece.

That set up the offense for a rekindling of the Mayfield-Chris Godwin connection. The quarterback found his receiver three times on the ensuing drive with the final strike going for a 41-yard touchdown.

Pass protection was an issue early and Mayfield has found himself in some scrambling scenarios, but the offense has seemingly hit a stride to start the second quarter.

In a hostile road environment, those plays will be crucial for Tampa Bay to steal one away from home. The Bucs will need to take advantage of such situations and continue finishing drives to match the Lions offense.
