Caitlin Clark was incensed after being called for an offensive foul in Sunday's game against the Dallas Wings, and many fans seemed to share in her sentiment.

The play came late in the first half, with Clark drawing heavy contact as she drove to the basket. The Indiana Fever star was sent crashing to the ground after her shot attempt, but it was Clark who drew an offensive foul for initiating contact at the beginning of the sequence.

Clark grew visibly upset at the play, leading to teammates Aliyah Boston and Erica Wheeler guiding her away from the referee in an attempt to prevent a costly technical foul. The WNBA Rookie of the Year frontrunner has already been whistled for six technical fouls this season and a seventh would result in an automatic one-game suspension for the Fever's season finale.

The foul drew some strong reactions from fans, who questioned why WNBA referees would blow the whistle on Clark.

"These refs are just magically bad," one fan wrote in response.

"There she goes using her face to attack peoples elbows again," another added.

    "Phanton nonexistent," wrote another.

Others expressed concern about what could happen in the playoffs if referees continue to make one-sided calls against Clark.

"I’m worried when they go to the playoffs. The Refs are going to be ruthless," one fan wrote.

Clark has helped lead the Fever to their first playoff berth in eight years.

If they’d show her games on tv here, I wish she’d go play in Europe, let the league go to shit again
