Sunday’s Week 2 NFL action featured Deshaun Watson and the Cleveland Browns facing off against Trevor Lawrence, Travis Etienne and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Watson and the Browns (1-1) came away with an 18-13 victory over the Jaguars (0-2) at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla.

Watson accounted for the first score of the game, keeping it himself for a 1-yard touchdown run that gave the Browns a 7-0 lead with two and a half minutes remaining in the opening quarter.

The two teams then traded field goals before Etienne muscled into the end zone for the first Jags touchdown, a 4-yard plunge that trimmed Jacksonville’s deficit to 16-10 with a little over a minute left in the third quarter.

Lawrence connected with Brian Thomas Jr. for a 66-yard completion that led to the aforementioned Etienne touchdown. On their next possession, the Jags kicked a field goal to draw within three points at 16-13 midway through the fourth quarter.

The Browns added to their lead with under two minutes left in the game when Lawrence was sacked in the end zone for a safety. It was one of four times that Lawrence got sacked.

Jacksonville had one final opportunity on their last possession, but on second down from the Cleveland 33 with eight seconds on the clock, Lawrence’s throw to the end zone fell incomplete.

Watson finished 22-of-34 passing for 186 yards to go with five carries for 20 yards and his rushing score, while Lawrence completed 14-of-30 passes for 220 yards and had 45 rushing yards on two carries, including a 33-yard run to the Cleveland 2 that set up a field goal.

Etienne, meanwhile, ran for 52 yards and his touchdown on 13 attempts with his longest rush going for 20 yards. He added 6 more yards on three catches.

The Jags will return to action for a Week 3 road matchup against the Buffalo Bills (2-0) on Monday Night Football (7:30 p.m., ESPN). The Browns will return home for a Week 3 contest against former Clemson defenders Dexter Lawrence, Isaiah Simmons and the New York Giants (0-2) next Sunday.
