Lamar Jackson Facing Intense Backlash For Final Play In Ravens-Raiders

Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens hosted the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, looking to secure their first victory of the season.
While the Ravens were pressured to grab a victory in Week 2, after losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in their season opener, their game plan fell apart late in the matchup.
With nearly 30 seconds remaining, the game was tied at 23 apiece, but a short drive from Las Vegas' offense helped them grab a 26-23 lead with a Daniel Carlson field goal.
Following the Las Vegas field goal, Jackson and the Ravens offense took the field. They had one of the best kickers in NFL history, Justin Tucker, in their back pocket, but the time on the clock didn't align with a field goal attempt.
The Ravens took the field with 27 seconds remaining. On the first play of the drive, Jackson found his tight end, Mark Andrews for a first down.
On the very next play, the Raiders went with an all-out blitz and Jackson was forced to throw the ball out of bounds with seven seconds remaining.
Jackson then heaved a pass to Isaiah Likely on third-down and 10. The pass was incomplete and the Ravens had one second for a miracle play on fourth-down.
It was a designed run for Jackson, who ran up the middle of the field and gained some chunk yardage. He was at the 25-yard line when he was met by Las Vegas' secondary.
Jackson then sent a lateral pass to running back Justice Hill. The running back didn't have an open field so he threw a forward pass to an offensive lineman, which was incomplete after the ball hit the ground.
Given Jackson's elusive skill on the ground, fans were furious that he didn't keep the ball and look to score. NFL fans were commenting on the play all over social media.
"Why would Lamar Jackson lateral? I trust him more than anyone to run around," said one fan."
"How thankful are the Raiders that Lamar Jackson didn’t just try to run it in on the last play? questioned one fan.
"I’m big confused on why Lamar Jackson didn’t keep the ball, look like he had a good chance to run it in." mentioned one fan.
"Why does Lamar Jackson not run for yards?! Why is the play calling so bad?!!" commented one fan.
"Lamar Jackson don’t run no more I see." said one fan.
"lamar jackson bro please run the ball," said another fan.
Jackson finished the loss to the Raiders with one touchdown and one interception, while throwing for 247 yards and completing 21-of-34 pass attempts.
Despite the criticism against Jackson to run on the last play, the Ravens star made a big impact on the ground game on Sunday.
He finished the contest with 45 rushing yards on five carries, securing an average of nine yards per carry.
The Ravens are now 0-2 for the first time since 2015.
Baltimore's next matchup will be played against the Dallas Cowboys on Sept. 22. That will be another test for the Ravens, since Dallas will be hungry to secure a victory after losing 44-19 in Week 2.
With the loss, the Ravens are now listed as the bottom ranked team in the AFC North.
game IQ. that dudes got none. Running QBs will never win the big games.

Lamar Jackson's a joke he's not a true quarterback he's a running back the only reason why he has okay stats is because of his receivers they give him the yard not because of his passing
