    Emmys: Hollywood couples who have taken home an award - including Barbra Streisand and James Brolin

    The 76th Emmy Awards are right around the corner and many "it" couples have won a couple themselves.

    The award show recognize those within various areas of television and emerging media. T his is not the first Emmys to air this year . The 75th Emmy Awards were rescheduled from September to January 15, 2024, on Fox, due to the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes that occurred in the summer of 2023. The Emmys are showing this year's event when it is scheduled. Hollywood icon Eugene Levy and his son Dan Levy will host the 2024 Emmy Awards .

    The Emmy Awards are special to many and even more to those couple's who can understand winning one themselves. Here are six couples who have won an Emmy award.

    Tina Fey and Jeff Richmond

    Tina Fey and her husband Jeff Richmond share three Outstanding Comedy Series Emmy awards for 30 Rock. Tina has been nominated for 49 Emmys throughout the years and Jeff has been nominated for 17. In 2020, they were nominated for Outstanding Television Movie Emmy for Netflix's Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs. the Reverend.

    Anne Bancroft and Mel Brooks

    Anne Bancroft and Mel Brooks are an Emmys power couple . Anne earned her first Emmy award in 1970 for the variety show The Women in the Life of a Man and another in 1999 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or Movie for her role in Deep In My Heart as Gerry Williams.

    Mel's work on The Sid Caesar, Imogene Coca, Carl Reiner, and Howard Morris Special earned him his first Emmy for Outstanding Writing Achievement in Variety in 1967. He later won three consecutive Emmys for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his portrayal of Uncle Phil on the hit 1990s sitcom Mad About You.

    Bonnie Bartlett and William Daniels

    Bonnie Bartlett and William Daniels got to celebrate each other's big win on the same night for their performances on the medical drama St. Elsewhere in 1986. After that, William had five nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series and two wins for his performance as Dr. Mark Craig, while Bonnie received three nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series and two wins for her role as Ellen Craig.

    Sarah Paulson and Holland Taylor

    Sarah Paulson won her first Emmy for her role on FX's The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story. She won Outstanding Lead Actress In A Limited Series Or Movie in 2016. Sarah was also nominated in the same category for 2012's Game Change, a movie about Sarah Palin. Holland Taylor won the 1999 Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her turn on ABC's The Practice and was nominated again for the same series along with The Lot in 2000.

    James Brolin and Barbra Streisand

    For his portrayal as Dr. Steven Kiley on Marcus Welby, M.D., James Brolin won the 1970 Emmy for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in Drama. He would go on to receive nominations for the same role in 1971, 1972, and 1973. He then was nominated for his role as Ronald Reagan in The Reagans in 2004 for an Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie Emmy.

    Barbra Streisand received three Emmy Awards: one in 2001 for Outstanding Individual Performance in a Variety or Music Program for her Timeless: Live in Concert performance; two in 1995 for Barbra: The Concert; and her first in 1965 for My Name Is Barbra in the category of Outstanding Individual Achievements in Entertainment - Actors and Performers.

    Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy

    Veteran performers and indies Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy are no strangers to award nominations, but they have not had much luck with the Emmys. Felicity won her one and only Emmy in 2005 for ABC's Desperate Housewives and has been nominated for five throughout the years. William, on the other hand, won two Emmy awards after 15 nominations. He won the two in 2003 for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Miniseries Or A Movie and Outstanding Writing for a Miniseries, Movie or a Dramatic Special - 2003.
