A former Tennessee Vols offensive lineman scored a touchdown in arguably the biggest NFL game of the weekend.

Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Wanya Morris was on the receiving end of a touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes in the third quarter of KC's matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday afternoon.

Morris, a third round selection by the Chiefs in the 2023 NFL Draft, reported as an eligible receiver just before catching the touchdown from Mahomes to give Kansas City the lead.

It was Morris' first career NFL touchdown.

Morris played at Tennessee from 2019 to 2020 before transferring to Oklahoma for the final two years of his collegiate career.

The Georgia native may not have finished his career at Tennessee, but he still has plenty of love for the Vols. At the Senior Bowl in 2023, Morris wore a Power T decal on the back of his Oklahoma helmet.

He may have played here once but he is not a VFL in my book. He and Eric Gray deserted us when we needed them most.
