The Bold and the Beautiful: Eric Discovers Taylor Secret Illness, Ridge Shocked by the Truth

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for the week of September 16-20 reveal that Taylor will pay a visit to the Forrester mansion and catch up with Eric Forrester. While their conversation will be cordial, Eric may sense that something deeper is going on with Taylor’s return to Los Angeles.

Eric’s Suspicions Rise

Taylor is scheduled to visit the Forrester house from September 16–20. Now that Taylor is getting back into her groove in Los Angeles, we can expect her to spend some time catching up with Eric. Even though he will always be Brooke's biggest fan and support her and Ridge's relationship, Eric still thinks Taylor is a fine lady deserving of respect.

Eric will therefore undoubtedly be happy to have Taylor return, but he might become skeptical of her motivations. During this catch-up, Eric might easily raise some questions because he feels that Taylor isn't speaking enough. Fans of B&B will remember how, back in 2023, Eric made an effort to keep his serious illness a secret from many of his loved ones.

Eric didn't want to waste what little time he still had by causing anxiety and sympathy in others. Naturally, Eric told Donna everything from the beginning and later discovered that the majority of his family was also kept in the dark. That was a difficult period for Eric, but he seems to have totally recovered now that Finn's magical cure has worked.

Nevertheless, there came a moment when it appeared like Eric would not survive. Eric might notice warning signs and believe Taylor is experiencing her own medical problems if she begins to act evasive and speak cryptic things. Taylor might pretend that she had to return home to spend as much time as possible with the children and Steffy.

Ridge Learns the Truth

Eric might be able to tell that Taylor is speaking with pain and urgency. Eric might encourage Taylor to provide updates to those closest to her if that is the case. If Eric had just been upfront about his illness from the beginning, it would have been much less stressful for both the Forresters and himself. Ridge and Taylor will become closer this autumn because we know he will learn some shocking information about the reasons behind Taylor's return.

It would significantly alter Taylor's plot going forward if she went back home because she was sick.
