In the past week, the Bloomfield Police Department investigated four instances of packages being delivered and subsequently stolen from addresses around town.

On 09/04/2024, BPD Officers responded to the 200 block of Bloomfield Avenue on a reported package theft. The complainant received a notification
from FedEx on 09/04/2024 at 12:57p.m. that a package was delivered. When the complainant went to retrieve the package at 6:00p.m., it was missing. The package contained a computer monitor valued at $225.00.
