Only pink in the outfit!
Meryl Streep, 75, stuck with a monochromatic look on Sunday, arriving at the 2024 Emmy Awards in an all-pink ensemble.
The actress, who was nominated for best supporting actress in a comedy for her role in “Only Murders in the Building,” posed on the red carpet, showing off a sleek, light pink Alexander McQueen suit which was styled with a matching pussy bow top.
However, the color scheme didn’t just end with Streep’s clothing — working with stylist Micaela Erlanger , she also carried around a small pink handbag and slipped on bright, pink-framed eyeglasses.
Diamond hoop earrings and silver heeled sandals — which showed off (what else?) her pink pedicure — added a bit of sparkle and ultimately pulled the outfit together.
As for glam, Streep wore her hair styled in half-up ‘do and went with natural makeup that included soft pink lip.
The “Devil Wears Prada” star walked the red carpet solo, although she did take a moment to pose alongside talent agent Kevin Huvane for some shots.
Earlier this year, Streep fueled rumors she was dating actor Martin Short after the two held hands at the hit Hulu show’s season four premiere — despite the fact that they previously denied being more than friends.
Short also nabbed a nomination for his role on “Only Murders in the Building,” competing against Steve Martin for outstanding lead actor in a comedy series, while Selena Gomez, who stunned in a black velvet gown , is up for lead actress in a comedy series.
Paul Rudd, who played an actor named Ben Glenroy on the show, was nominated for best supporting actor in a comedy.
While Streep ultimately lost her category to “The Bear” star Liza Colón-Zayas, she does have a chance of taking home a trophy as the Hulu show is nominated for outstanding comedy series.
