Drew Barrymore Celebrates 5 Years Sober

Drew Barrymore welcomed actress-turned-director, Zoë Kravitz onto The Drew Barrymore Show last week to discuss her new movie, Blink Twice . A psychological thriller that includes themes of violence and substance abuse. What fans didn't realize is that the 50 First Dates actress actually has a connection to the film.

"I used to be a blackout drinker," she told Zoë. "So watching this film was an extraordinary journey for me to forgive myself for that. Because I've put myself in situations I shouldn't have put myself in, and I felt so much shame about that."

"And I haven't had a drink in five years," Drew continued, drawing congratulations from both Zoë and her captivated audience.
