(670 The Score) The Bears have compiled just 353 yards of offense in their first two games of a much-anticipated season, a figure that ranks second-to-last in the NFL among all the teams that have played twice already.

After the Bears’ defense and special teams led the way to a victory in the season opener, the offensive woes continued in front of a national audience on Sunday Night Football, as Chicago posted 205 yards of offense in a 19-13 loss at Houston.

The Bears’ running game was nearly non-existent, while the passing game has offered no downfield threat to date. Lead running back D’Andre Swift had 14 carries for just 18 yards Sunday, while rookie quarterback Caleb Williams averaged 4.7 yards per pass attempt and was sacked seven times.

“Right now, we just need to figure out our identity and go from there,” Moore said on the Mully & Haugh Show on Monday morning.

Moore believes the Bears’ offensive struggles can be traced to everyone on the unit, pointing out his job is to make “special” plays and that he hasn’t done so yet. As for the lack of a downfield passing game, Moore thinks it will be a bit easier once the running game finds more space.

“We also need the run game to get the play-action going,” Moore said. “Everything goes hand in hand. The run opens the pass. And then when you start passing the ball, it opens the run back up. So we got to have those things in conjunction together.”

The 22-year-old Williams was 23-of-37 for 174 yards and two interceptions against the Texans. Moore believes Williams will learn from his tough night, and he likes the mindset that Williams has come to work with each day.

“He wants to learn,” Moore said. "He still wants to learn. He wants to be involved in what’s going on and what’s getting called. I know he’ll look back at this and learn from it and try not to make the same mistakes twice.”
