The Detroit Lions saw their No. 1 wide receiver, Amon-Ra St. Brown, exit the Week 2 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on multiple occasions due to what appeared to be a leg injury.

First, St. Brown was hobbled in the third quarter and ran off the field to get looked at. Then, late in the fourth quarter, St. Brown limped off the field yet again and fell to the ground as he arrived at the sideline.

Things didn't look good for St. Brown, but thankfully he appears to be just fine, both according to head coach Dan Campbell and a new report on Monday morning. Here's the latest.

    Amon-Ra St. Brown injury update

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter , St. Brown was dealing with a contusion and some cramping in the loss to Tampa Bay, so the Lions have dodged a bullet.

This confirms what Campbell said after the game, when he revealed St. Brown's issue wasn't going to be a long-term problem.

"He's alright," Campbell said of St. Brown, per Jared Ramsey of the Detroit Free Press . "I don't think it is anything long term, so that's good news."

Based on how tough St. Brown is, it would be shocking to see him sit out in Week 3, barring any setbacks. That is fantastic news for a Lions team that will be looking to bounce back following a Week 2 loss.

After a quiet Week 1 that saw him tally just three catches for 13 yards, St. Brown led all Lions pass-catchers in receptions (11) and receiving yards (119) on Sunday.

The Lions draw a road matchup against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 3. Detroit will release its first injury report of the week on Wednesday, and we'll be monitoring it to see how St. Brown is coming along.
