Bills' AFC East Round-Up: Buffalo Continues to Show Divisional Dominance

Things are going very well for the Buffalo Bills to start the 2024 season - especially in the AFC East.

The division race, won by the Bills for the last four years, has found Buffalo in the early lead once again by a game and a half thanks to their 31-10 bludgeoning of the Miami Dolphins last Thursday.

Making things easier for Buffalo, outside of beating Miami, is that the rest of the division doesn't look very frightening to this point.

The New England Patriots dropped a competitive 23-20 overtime contest to the Seattle Seahawks Sunday afternoon. They remain a rebuilding roster despite being a competitive team.

Then there are the New York Jets who hung on for a 24-17 win over the Tennessee Titans but struggled for most of the contest due to inconsistent offense and a poor defense decimated with injuries.

It's left many people taking a restock on the AFC East again.

"It's really not a contest between the Bills and anybody else in the AFC East," Pro Football Talk's Michael Holley wrote. "I think they're clearly the class of the division… This is their division."

It's important to remember that it is still early in the season, and things can change drastically. Buffalo's defense being decimated with injuries certainly doesn't help matters.

But as the wins continue to pile up, it really seems like Buffalo's dominance in the AFC East will continue for another year.
