Sofía Vergara is sending a message about not taking home an award at last night's Emmys.

The 52-year-old actress would have marked a huge "first" at the 2024 Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday, Sept. 15, where she was nominated for her role in the Netflix limited series Griselda , alongside fellow nominees, Brie Larson ( Lessons in Chemistry ), Juno Temple ( Fargo ), Naomi Watts ( Feud: Capote vs. The Swans ), as well as the ultimate winner of the category, Jodie Foster ( True Detective: Night Country ).

Had Vergara won, the longtime actress would have become the first Latina actress to ever win the category for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series—but though that didn't happen, Vergara still seemed to be in good spirits, sharing a video to Instagram afterward.

The morning after the show, the America's Got Talent judge took to social media with a video of herself enjoying a meal, hilariously quipping, "I didnt get an Emmy but I got a hamburger 😂," in the post's caption.

People in the comment section absolutely loved her attitude on the situation, with one simply responding, "😂😂 I love you Sofia."

"Who needs an Emmy when you got a hamburger 🍔🤣," another joked in agreement, while a third top-liked comment encouraged, "☝️ you are a winner no matter what."

"A win is a win! The Emmy would’ve gotten in between you and the burger! 🍔," someone else comically declared, and an additional Instagram user gushed, "❤️❤️❤️Sofia forever. So REAL. 🔥."

Vergara stars as the titular character, Griselda Blanco , in the fictionalized series inspired by the true story of the ambitious Colombian businesswoman who created one of the most profitable cartels in history.

Vergara still made history as the first Latina actress nominated for an Emmy Award in the Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie category.

The Colombian-born actress has also already been recognized with her fair share of Emmy nominations in the past, including as a nominee for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series four years in a row for her performance on Modern Family .
