Now this is the kind of Christmas show I want to see. Koe Wetzel announced this morning that he's taking the holiday cheer to his native Texas this December for two special shows titled "Wetzel’s Wonderland Live." Of course, he put out his Christmas EP Koe Wetzel Presents… Wetzel’s Wonderland
last year, which included holiday standards in Elvis Presley’s “Blue Christmas,” Bing Crosby’s “I’ll Be Home For Christmas,” and Charles Brown’s “Please Come Home For Christmas,” that all have a bit of a country twist and updated production. The two Christmas-themed shows will take place on Friday, December 27th and Saturday, December 28th in Austin at the Moody Center and Fort Worth at Dickie's Arena, respectively. And not only that, but two other fantastic artists in Morgan Wade and Stephen Wilson, Jr. will open for Koe, and I have to say, if you can make it to either one, it sounds like they're going to be really great shows, and definitely different than Koe's usual pyro-filled, upbeat concerts. https://www.instagram.com/p/C_-5ThPRNiL/ Tickets to both dates go on sale this Friday, September 20th.
