Both of our children went to bed at the same time every night. our daughter had trouble going to sleep and she would wake up early and she never needed a nap after about age 4. our son however who is 2 years older than our daughter slept long nights and still took a nap after school until he was age 7. the children are in their forties now and our son still sleeps more at night than our daughter does and sometimes he takes a nap and she never does.
