KFC Fans Are Begging for Sweet Menu Item Exclusive to South Africa to Come to the U.S.

KFC fans are continually disappointed to hear that their favorite restaurant is coming out with a tempting new menu item that's only available in another part of the world. In the past few months alone, KFC introduced fried cookie dough and the Waffle Double (a Double Down with a waffle in the middle) in Australia and the KD Mac & Cheese Chicken Sandwich featuring Kraft Mac & Cheese in Canada.

Now, the chicken chain has an all-new offering that's a dream come true for churro lovers—but, once again, it's not available in the United States.

On Sunday, Sept. 15, popular Instagram account Snackolator shared a photo of the colorful dessert.

"I'm hungry, enchanted, and oh so angry right now... KFC released a new Churro Pop Cone as part of a limited time menu, but only in South Africa!" read the post's caption.

"This is a waffle cone that is filled with churro pieces and then has chocolate poured over the top and inside. I love churro flavored anything and this just looks great - why they can't bring fun stuff like this to the states I do not understand. UNLEASH THE CHURRO POP CONES!"

Commenters were super enthusiastic about the treat, though some were understandably frustrated.

    "Yummy," wrote one person.

"NEED THAT🙌🔥🔥🙌," agreed a second Instagram user.

"Everywhere else BUT the us gets the good stuff," complained someone else, with another saying "this looks so good why do other countries have better foods in [sic] usa."

Not everybody was on board with the idea, however.

"Pass. Now if it had been ice cream topped with those churro pieces then yeah," commented a skeptic.
