Mitzner: Swifties not so swift

Taylor Swift was living the American girl dream. Never more.

When Taylor opened her mouth about presidential politics the bubble burst.

Taylor did not understand fans watch sports to forget about politics, inflation, violence, immigration, public corruption, gays, schools, addiction, taxes, the list goes on.

Now when we see Taylor, we are ready to shut off the TV.  To make matters worse, the news media mafia repeats daily that Swiftie fans love Taylor's go-go boots with stiletto high heels.

What fans? Teeny-boppers that wear a size 2! For the past 60 years, I have watched women who wore high heels spend all their money on podiatrists and orthopedic foot surgeons trying to save their feet and ankles.

Back in the 1970s, the first item on the women's liberation agenda was to get rid of high heels and other bad fashion ideas.

It’s time for all you grandmas to step up and email or text your grandchildren, and explain to them what is a stupid idea.
