Ranch Slow Cooker Chicken Tacos Are Will Make Taco Tuesday Every Night

Ohhhh goodness, are you going to love this recipe. It has all the delicious things in life: ranch powder and tacos. With only four ingredients, you can serve this slow cooker juicy shredded chicken in tacos, over nachos, in tortillas, or over salads. It's easy to freeze for later, but I'm betting you won't have any leftovers.

How to Prepare Cool Ranch Chicken Tacos in a Slow Cooker

It's seriously so easy. All you're doing is throwing chicken into your crock pot, sprinkling the seasonings on top, adding broth, and walking away!

Any type of boneless, skinless chicken will work—thighs, breasts, or tenders.

You can use frozen chicken if you cook the chicken for a bit longer. You will want to exclude the chicken broth this way because the frozen chicken will release more liquid. If necessary, you can always add the broth once the chicken is cooked.

Makes 8 servings

Ingredients:

• Two-pounds of skinless boneless chicken breasts or whatever kind of boneless chicken you like
• One taco spice packet (the ounce size)
• One ranch dressing powder packet (the ounce size)
• ½ cup chicken broth, reduced sodium
• ½ cup sour cream

OPTIONAL

• One small sweet onion, sliced
• Three cloves of chopped garlic

Directions:

• Put your chicken and broth in the crock pot.
• Add onion and garlic if you're using it. (I highly recommend!)
• Sprinkle ranch and taco seasoning on top.
• Cook on low for 4 to 6 hours
• Shred the chicken, stir in the sour cream, and serve it up!
