When firefighters arrived, they found the body of a man with blood on him in one of the bedrooms, an L.A. County Sheriff’s Lieutenant told KNX News’ Emily Valdez. They also found a dog who had died.

After obtaining a search warrant, firefighters went into another room where they found the woman’s body.

Although the victims have not been identified, the Sheriff’s Lieutenant said that it was a couple who lived in the house. The woman, who was in her late 60s, was having marital problems with her husband, who was in his early 70s.

It was also revealed the woman had recently filed for divorce and Glendora police had responded to a domestic dispute at the house a few weeks ago.
